EPA SECURITY

Learn the essential principles of what it takes to enter into the world of the Personal Protection Specialist. Dignitary, Celebrity and Executive clients expect you to be proactive and in command of the reactive skills necessary to perform the detail. Course content covers individual duties, equipment selection, positioning, movement, threat assessment, communication, advance duties, site security planning, drop off and pick-up, hands on physical intervention, client evacuation, live fire CQB, protocol, dress, etiquette and motorcade / driving skills. On the last day a working exercise will test all aspects of the participants newly acquired skills during a full day scenario.

To meet each client’s needs, course modifications can be made to training curriculum to allow for experience and skill levels. Anyone not currently employed by a law enforcement agency attending our courses must be 21 years of age or older. Due to the nature of this course, participants must be subjected to a complete law enforcement background check prior to the commencement of training.

Basic course participants receive a certificate of training after demonstrating the minimum acceptable performance standards. This is a 24 hour course.

Materials needed for PSD course:

500 rounds, duty pistol and long gun, eye/ear protection
