James A. Poag is currently the Senior VP of Operation for the Miami Branch of EPA Protections Services.  Mr. Poag is a certified law enforcement /correctional officer; in addition he possesses a Masters Degree in Public Management, Graduate Certificate in Justice Administration and a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice.

Mr. Poag is the former Regional Director of Safety and Security for Hyatt Hotels; he has also served as the Director of the Office of Professional Standards for Broward County.  He posses over 15 years of law enforcement experience serving in the capacity of Correction Officer for the Florida Department of Corrections, Police Officer Hallandale Beach PD, Investigator and Supervisor of Investigation for Broward County.
